We identify the few levers that will actually move the needle and we get to work. No online modules. No generic frameworks. The clients I work with are weapons in their technical fields - earthworks, concrete, building, legal, accounting, tech developers, engineering, mechanics…But while they’re some of the best at the craft, the off-tool side of the business can feel a bit overwhelming. Things like marketing, sales, HR, pricing, cashflow, systems, leadership become a challenge. It’s very difficult to zoom out of your business when you are so close to it.

That's exactly why most people reach out. Being too busy usually means something in the business isn't working, and that's what we fix. The fortnightly sessions are an hour or less. If you can't find an hour a fortnight to work on your business, that's actually the first problem we need to solve.

It depends on what you mean by results. Most clients notice a shift in clarity and focus within the first few sessions — they're making better decisions, feeling less reactive, and actually working on the business instead of just in it. That happens pretty quickly. The bigger stuff takes longer: revenue growth, margin improvement, getting time back. Realistically, you'll start seeing meaningful movement within 90 days and by six months most clients have recovered their investment through better pricing, tighter margins, or simply making fewer costly decisions. I won't promise you a number before I know your business. But I've never had a client finish six months and feel like it wasn't worth it.

Your accountant tells you what happened. I help you change what happens next. Accountants are brilliant at compliance, tax, and keeping the numbers tidy, but that's not the same as helping you run a better business. I know, because I'm a Chartered Accountant myself. The difference is I sit with you in the decisions before they show up on a P&L: pricing, hiring, where your time's going, why the cash isn't there even when revenue looks fine. Your accountant and I should both be in your corner. We just play different positions.

Both, but not in equal measure. We'll talk through the challenges, but the sessions are structured around decisions and actions, not just conversation. You'll leave every session with something clear to do. I'm not here to validate your thinking — I'm here to challenge it, sharpen it, and make sure you follow through on what you said you'd do.

I've worked with earthworks contractors, roofers, builders, automotive businesses, professional services firms, agencies and more. The industries are different but the problems rarely are: cashflow, team, pricing, time, and an owner who's too deep in the weeds to see the bigger picture. I'm not a tradie and I'm not a lawyer or a mechanic. I don't need to be. The people I work with are some of the best in their field at what they do, and that's their expertise — I respect it. My expertise is business. When you put those two things together, someone who truly knows their craft and someone who knows how to build a business around it, that's where the real results come from.

The six-month partnership is broken into six equal monthly instalments, paid in advance. No large upfront sum, just a regular monthly payment that's easy to plan around. Given that cashflow is one of the things we'll be working on together, it made sense to structure it that way.

The six-month partnership kicks off with a Business Planning Session, a full 3-hour working session where we get into your numbers, your goals, and build your 12-month plan. When you sign up for the full programme, that session is effectively half the standalone price. If you come out of it and don't feel the value is there, you're free to walk away. No lock-in, no awkward conversation. I'm confident enough in what that session delivers to not need a contract to keep you. Most people leave wanting more, not less.
